ANIMAL INN'S BASIC AGILITY PHILOSOPHY

  1. A dog's ATTITUDE is everything.  Without attitude, sooner or later you will have nothing.

  2. A handler/dog WORKING RELATIONSHIP is important to be able to teach effectively.

  3. A dog's RESPONSE is critical.

  4. A HANDLER'S ATTITUDE had become increasingly important.  It has the potential to ruin 1, 2 & 3.
        * Response to dog's training (if things go wrong)
        * Response to show situations
        * Have a winning attitude;  Expect to do well
        * Work towards goals but be a good sport in any case

  5. Train for the long term and train to be the  best.

At Animal Inn we have been training agility since the early 1990s.  We have an exceptional program with exceptional instructors.  Our instructors have won national titles and earned multiple MACh (AKC Master Agility Champion) and ADCh (USDAA Agility Dog Champion) titles.  

We offer puppy specific agility classes as well as beginner classes for mature dogs that are starting out.  We have 7 levels of classes so you are always with classmates that are at the same skill level as yourself.

We offer classes throughout the entire year.  During the summer months we have two full sized fenced agility rings.  During the winter we will be holding classes at an insulated horse arena that is located near the Animal Inn.

The summer classes are held Monday thru Thursday evenings and we also have daytime classes on Wednesdays.  We have two 10-12 week sessions outdoors each year.  

The winter classes are also held Monday thru Thursday evenings as well as daytime classes on Wednesdays.  We also offer a few weekend classes.  The winter has two sessions that are 10 weeks each.
